- I spent 7 years as a combat photojournalist in the Navy where I had thrilling adventures across South East Asia. After leaving the service in 2002 I decided to return to college and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Communication. I started my own business, a personal assistant, which has been absolutely great--make my own hours, decide which jobs I will work, and now I can make time to get my masters!
